- ThemeTop - Desktop interface of the Adarvo window in which any windows can be kept open.
- ThemeMap - Hierarchical folder structure for arranging the data in an Adarvo theme.
- Properties folder - Dialog containing with different options for the folders in the Theme Map.
- Key words - You can assign any number of key words to an item in an Adarvo theme.
- Document statuses ("states") - Adarvo already contains a series of statuses that can be used to mark documents. They are also known as "states". You can add to them as much as you require.

- Adarvo bar - This is the orange-colored bar on the left-hand edge of the Adarvo window in which you can access the different items and views of your Adarvo theme.
- Item Types - The item types displayed in the Adarvo bar are the different categories of items that are possible in Adarvo.
- Special Views - "Special Views" arrange the contents of the theme according to their state. For example, they show all unread items or the most-recently used items.
- My Adarvo - You can display the most important items in Adarvo from the "My Adarvo" bar.
- MindMap - As an alternative to the Theme Map folder structure, you can also edit data in Adarvo in a MindMap.
- Toolbar - The most important commands in Adarvo, for example, Share and Synchronize, are located in the tool bar.

- ThemeManager - Window in which all the themes you edit in Adarvo are managed.
- Theme Properties - Theme settings that are made in the ThemeManager.
- Theme calendar - The ThemeManager's calendar function gives an overview of the events and tasks in all Adarvo themes
- Theme options - In the Tools menu in the ThemeManager you will find the Options command which opens a dialog in which you can specify some general default settings for your Adarvo installation.
- Join/Invite Somebody... - The administrator of a theme can invite new members to join it via mail. They then select the Join command to access this theme.
- Share Theme - You can create a private theme and afterwards register it on the server that you can share it with other people.

- Sharing and Publishing- Synchronizing
- Sharing/Publishing - So that you can make your theme's data accessible for other people in Adarvo, you "share" it with other members. For the same reason you "publish" the data on the Internet.
- Share with Group - You can "share an item with the group" by selecting it with the mouse and then clicking on the Share button. This allows all theme members to read it.
- Share with Myself (Mobility) - Adarvo provides the "mobility" function so that you can access your Adarvo themes from several workplaces.
- Publish on the Web - If you select the Publish on the Web command, Adarvo displays the selected item on the theme's web site.
- Sharing/Publishing - All Options - In the dialog with all the options for "sharing/publishing" you can assign different rights to individual theme members.
- Rights (permissions) - This section contains a brief introduction to how to assign different rights (also known as "permissions" or "authorization") when sharing Adarvo items.
- LocalSync - Synchronizes Adarvo with Microsoft Outlook.

- Publish theme on WEB - There is a Wizard that helps you create a website using the data in your Adarvo theme.
- The on-line work area of a theme - Members of a theme can log onto their theme over the Internet, from any computer in the world that has an Internet connection.
- Adarvo themes - shared homepage - The web page from which all Adarvo themes can be accessed.
- Adarvo themes login - Any member of a theme can use their mail address and password to log into their Adarvo data over the Internet.
